Toy: Rope Bridge

Submitted by: Mike
A bridge for your budgie to use to get from his cage to you.
What You’ll Need:
- Cotton or sisel rope, any length desired
Steps:
- Step 1: Tie one end of the rope to somewhere on your budgie’s cage where he can get on it.
- Step 2: Tie the other end to somewhere you would like your budgie to be able to get to.
Here is Mike’s story about how he and his budgie enjoy the rope bridge:
“I am disabled so this works out great for me. I am also being hollered at by Gracer (my feathered boss) for ignoring him as I write this. I have the rope stretched from the front of the cage to my bed railing. Gracer runs out on the rope and pokes his head up when he is ready. I reach for him slow. He runs from me towards the cage. When I look away, he repeats until he is tired. Heaven helps me if I get a phone call while we are playing, as HE SCREAMS like his life depends on it. He also climbs up on the knot tied to the rail and perches there when I am sleeping, watching over me with one eye open and one closed. The only thing he likes more then this is dropping toys, which he loves watching me pick up. I hope everyone has this much fun with their feathered bosses as I do.” – Mike
