Introducing new foods
« on: September 18, 2012, 11:01:37 AM »
Ive had Squirtle and Peppy for about two months but I cant seem to get them to eat any fruits or veggies. I got the 2 budgies from my neighbor that i dont think she took very good care of them, definetly not enough to offer them fresh fruit or veggies. Do u suggest a certain type of food that budgies particularly like???

I have mixed strawberries or rasberries " squishing"  them a little in their seed. (Tip from sarah)  I have also mixed some finely chopped carrots n broccoli in their seed.  I have had my budgies for almost a month and they had never had anything but seed.
